Sunrise Senior Living operates over 270 communities in the U.S. and Canada, and I contributed my expertise to fourteen California locations. Sunrise's vision is to promote longer, healthier lives by blending elements from fine dining, boutique hotels, and single-family homes, creating nurturing environments for residents.

In my landscape designs, I prioritize safety and accessibility, creating wide pathways and well-lit spaces that invite exploration and comfort. My holistic approach nurtures the mind, body, and spirit, as I craft serene environments featuring cozy seating areas, tranquil fountains, and a diverse array of plants that encourage social interaction.

I specialize in designing outdoor rooms tailored for gatherings, gardening, and reflection, filled with sensory-rich gardens that stimulate the senses with varied textures, fragrances, and sounds. Thoughtfully placed birdhouses and feeders invite joy and connection through delightful birdwatching.

As the lead landscape architect, I collaborated extensively with Sunrise throughout every phase of the project. I engaged with the community to ensure we uplifted underserved populations and enhanced their quality of life through meaningful design.
