Aliso Viejo Country Club is located in the coastal foothills of Orange County, California, and is surrounded by breathtaking mountain ranges and picturesque valleys, offers an intimate private club experience with top-notch golf, dining, fitness, and social activities.
The course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, is an engaging par-72 layout in Orange County, catering to players of all skill levels. Originally a 27-hole course, it features strategic rough areas, stunning water hazards, and significant elevation changes. In 2005, it was renamed Aliso Viejo Country Club and transformed into an 18-hole private club, appealing to both experienced and beginner golfers.
Our landscape architecture firm was responsible for designing and conducting construction observations in areas not specifically included in the course design. This scope included the golf club entry, pedestrian and vehicular traffic areas, areas surrounding the country club, detailed roughs and hazards, and all adjacent areas of the course, such as refreshment stands, restrooms, and course maintenance facilities.

The project was stunning upon completion. Initially, the golf course attracted a lot of interest, but it was eventually sold to a private company. One of the 9-hole courses was sold to a residential developer. Today, the Aliso Viejo Country Club operates as a private club and frequently rents out its clubhouse and grounds for weddings.
